Inscribed “Sea Island / Georgia,” in pencil, by Weston with a typed label and phrase from Walt Whitman’s <i>Leaves of Grass[/i]: “From Moon to Starry Night / O Magnet South,” and the negative number, “W10P393,” in pencil, by Weston on reverse of the trimmed, original mount.
